Appeal

Appeal against a court order

If you disagree with a judgment, you can almost always appeal. Appeal requires the assistance of a lawyer.

How do you appeal?

Appeals go through an appeal summons. The grounds for appeal may be included in that appeal summons, but this is not necessary. It is also possible to choose to file the grounds of appeal later.

The term of appeal is different. In basic proceedings, the term is three months, but be careful: in the case of summary proceedings, the term is only four weeks.
